Psalm 37:38-40

³⁸But sinners will be destroyed;
·in the end [or the posterity of] the wicked will ·die [^Lbe cut off].

³⁹The Lord ·saves [rescues; ^Tdelivers] ·good [righteous] people;
he is their strength in times of ·trouble [distress].
⁴⁰The Lord helps them and ·saves [rescues; ^Tdelivers] them;
he ·saves [rescues; ^Tdelivers] them from the wicked,
because they ·trust [take refuge] in him for protection.
